Are you shaken or stirred?

So goes the saying. James Bond was certainly one for a shaken martini with a twist, never stirred. However with the current shake up of COVID-19 pandemic, economic downturn, and certain uncertainty, are you shaken or are you stirred? Are you full of fear and trepidation or are you seeking some peace in your heart? Are you somewhere in between? The answer is likely: YES! To. Every. Single. Bit. The answer changes moment by moment, and sometimes it is all of it, all at once. Yeah, me too. I have thought about blogging for a very long time, with many false starts, and here at home on day seven of social distancing/self-isolation unable to go to work, I find myself stirred by the need to spend more time in prayer, more time in song, and more time meditating on scripture. More time is something I have right now. Our lives have been turned upside down in a matter of days from no-big-deal to the declaration of a global pandemic.
